If that's true then the heading will have to be changed back. Very sad. Kurt was one of the most remarkable climbers in the world. Hs strength was only superseded by his sense of humour and generosity. He was an ambassador for climbing and travelled the world, including to Australia. He and Wolfgang made a formidable pair. The first day I climbed in the Frankenjura with Kurt, we retired to a bar and sitting out in the open he exclaimed, 'there's a bee in your beer', and when I looked down, he blew the froth of the wheat beer in my face. A huge, laughing friendly guy.
