if you've got any solid exposed rafters I can recommend inverting the "A-frame" to be a "V-frame", so that you hang the campus board from the rafters. This worked really well for me: for starters my carport had no walls, and when the campus board was not in use the wheelie-bins or car bonnet could still fit underneath so we lost no floorspace.
