Just prior to the introduction of double biners I was at a climbing gym when clip-in failure accident occurred. I was walking under a long overhang when a beginner fell about 6m and landed on his back about 1m from me. Ambulances were called but he had no injury at all thanks to the gravel bed on the gym floor. Somehow he had managed to jam the biner into his harness without properly connecting it. |
