I do hate the weekend coffee withdrawal head aches. Boredom at work is why I drink coffee during the week. Week discipline is what keeps me from not drinking the stuff. The 80mg/100ml is regulated by the food laws. As to kids and energy drinks I make it a point of never giving my kids anything with caffeine in it. I also reluctantly let them have any sugar laced drink, even the juices. One of my daughters just turns into a human wrecking ball at the smell of any preservatives, colurs or extra sugar let alone giving her caffeine. The other three just get the silly sugar highs. Their little bodies aren't designed to cope with the amounts of additives that affect adults.
