Motorbikes are interesting, slightly older group kills themselves.

Heaps of pedestrians die as well. If you take any major cohort out of the group, things look different. Surely this isn't surprising ? If we take passengers out, it's even more dramaitc than taking out cyclists, but they're all still dead people.

Might not be anything in there on vkt by demographic, or gender - have read it somewhere.

Your insurers' actuarial staff would be the best guide and they charge young males the most. I dunno if they can discriminate based on race - one for the insurance or discrimination lawyers amongst us. I'm sure they would, if they could, cause they do, where they can.

Guys and chicks and cars - Table 2 page 7. Guys outnumber chicks in deaths 516:178, for passengers 171:131; peds 134:59; motorcycles 227:18 (!); cycles 25:2; total 1075: 388. men are stupid behind the wheel, when we work out why we'll be much better off.
