Hey, that's my post! Yep, I'm still alive and lurking. Haven't got malaria yet and haven't been eaten by a croc. Haven't done much climbing - just a bit of bouldering - I have a couple of excellent bouldering sites up here in Gizo (Western Province, Solomon Islands). Just getting established and business is picking up (IT support). Went surfing 4 out of the last 5 days, so life isn't too bad - I have three excellent reef breaks not far from the house (2 rights and a left - Kelly Slater surfed the left a few years ago and declared it one of the best he'd ever surfed). I'll get a Gizo bouldering trip report up soon.

And my 2 cents worth - watch those flying rocks at the crags - we were also climbing at Mount York about a year ago and kids on top started chucking rocks. Keep any littlies well clear of the impact zone and Widewetandslippery :-)
