That said... I guess all you can do is point out observations and people will continue to make their own choices whether with children, helmets, gear, driving, crossing the road etc.....
My opinion is that it comes down to informed decisions and you need to respect individuals decisions (or leave, or have a dummy spit etc.!) I have left crags before due to people undertaking blatantly unsafe practices, which they didn't want to change after been offered recommendations. Wasn't going to ruin my day on avoidable accidents or blood on my rope. |
