Is there climbing after 50 ?
I'm 62 and the first thing to make sure of, is that you are actually around after 50. I've lost plenty of friends, with heart attacks being the biggest killer, followed by suicides and cancer. Alcohol, drugs, smoking and a bad diet are the best way to ensure you won't make it past 50. Age also means slower healing after accidents, hence I feel it worth trying to minimise the risk of injury.

Personally I've found that a couple of hours daily exercise, daily salads, a young wife who climbs and a Metolius Simulator have been the best way to ensure my climbing keeps improving.
