For the commuters the pick of the bunch is 'The Blue Duck' in Ararat. On the way out of town on the main street opposite the Shell service station. Never fails to dish out a good feed, good variety etc etc. Brilliant. The same people who do great curry at Dadswell Bridge (by the big Koala) also have a place in Arart, on the side of one of the big pubs. Great food, friendly service, but alas not open on Sundays. What about the Oasis in Horsham? Used to be great.
