I like to plan for things, which generally just involves knowing the way to a certain crag. My other half tends to like to leave these things up to fate "Because then if we don't find it we can't be upset, because there was a good chance it was going to happen." What he really means is "You do all the planning and so if you don't find it then you can be upset and I can blame you, which means I am not upset at all, but you are doubly so." Then again, he is the one who organises our rack obsessively when it is just hanging in the cupboard...
