i refer to existing routes / boulder problems.
in regards to the Gramps, from having done a lot of the discovery of new bouldering areas in the gramps, i found that wire brushes still damaged the rock, where as a heavy sturdy scrubbing brush worked better without 'polishing the rock' or exposing the softer underside, as it so easily happens in softer sanstone.
there is no need to use wire brushes - PERIOD. just be patient and stick to plasttic bristles and eventfully you can use a toothbrush. |
