Whilst it was a ski shop, it, along with Auski were the only real outdoor stores in the city . Loch Wilson was operating parttime out of glenhuntly then permanently until he opened Bushgear in the city . Moloneys went through various owners most of whom lost their shirts in the business as the market couldn t support the number of players . Moloneys had ice axes 1.2 m long which no one every bought but at least they did stock all outdoor gear. they probably had a larger share of the market than auski
