Sorry RODW but i tend to disagree with you just a little height does make the gym long and sustained routes one after another thats the shit right there to me...the edge isnt run by climbers and i think that is a big deal as to why the edge is such a shit little gym,they care more about kids parties than climbers which is a pity because it's got potenial.
As to St Leonards well should i even bother mentioning how rude and stuck up there staff are, the bouldering might be great but i think that is purely because of mark Withers natural talent to set the best bouldering problems i have ever climbed EVER...

POMMY get over your self you knew your best option to get any climbing done for the weekend was to go indoors mate even i know to stay away from the gyms on weekends due to fifty thousands screaming liitle anoying kids. you could have easely jumped back into yourt car and gone to the pub or somewhere else which didnt have kids but you choose to stay..

Didnt you even mention before you payed when you walked in that it looked busy and you wouldn't mind pulling out the rope and leading some routes..

Sorry but stupidity pisses me off (and no i dont know how to spell im from the WEST).

and one last note i climb at all these gym no matter how crowed they are i like the atomosphere
