Hey Mikl. it was me you were chatting away to that day. thanks for leaving your spare water too, came in handy knowing we had plenty to spare.

A little info about our trip, got to the carpark at 12am, left car at 12:30am, abseil reached at 1am, geared up at the top and reached the bottom of mirrorball at 1:30am, started climbing at 3:09am, climbed the 1st two pitches with our headtorches then by 5am the sun was around providing plenty of light for us to climb. Ran into mikl some where around here and had i little bit of a screaming match between him and I trying to find out what time we had been there since.

With time to spare we saw pitch 7 i think which was a great place to sit down relax our fingers and toes and enjoy the view also have a snooze on the belay ledge, i think we slept for about 30mins/an hour. then decided to finished the rest of our climbing in the shade..

Topped out around 1:30pm and went on search for the bottle Mikl left behind and started the long walk back in the heat to the car which was at pierces pass lookout. After returning to the car we found some rubish that had fallen out of my car under my windscreen wiper (thankyou by the way who ever you were) as i didnt relize it had fallen out.

We then drove to lithgow for some well desevred lunch, McDonalds. and then back to dams for a swim in the heat which was all we could think/talk about on the walk out...
so all up we had a great long day/night bushbashing, climbing, sleeping and swimming with everything going perfect and to plan...

with no thunderstorms at all and a beautiful night walking in me and my mate couldnt have been happier we had choosen the perfect time to climb this CLASSIC of the mountains....HOTEL CALIFORNIA i will be back againnnnnn..for more.
