Jeez, sounds like this might happen. Good stuff. Before doing anything with the 'AMIN' name on though, Paul Hudson should be contacted. I don't know how the whole shebang started and I was never able to make it to any of the slidenights to see how things happened, but it sounded like he basically did everything. You could imagine him being pretty pissed off if after all his hard work someone just nicked the AMIN name without him knowing. I had his email address once but don't have it now. Does someone have his address and want to contact him? Or if you give it to me I can contact him.

Anyhow...assuming that everything's cool, then it's supposed to not be hard to start a Yahoo group. You need to either already have, or create, a yahoo ID (pretty easy, can't remember the details exactly but just go to Yahoo.com and follow the prompts). Then go to:

http://groups.yahoo.com/

Click on the "Start a group" link and go for it. I got about halfway through the startup procedure before logging out. I think someone needs to be designated as "owner". Maybe PH might want to start it and be owner(?) if not, it shouldn't really matter, just someone who is OK with vetting membership enquiries etc.
