You travel OS just to crank 2m off the deck?! I raised an eyebrow, but then considered
we all have different passions...
Thanks Jacqui for making me think more about potential trips... but with regards to that
Tiger site, to enter in Sydney as an Origin of trip gave me only 3 domestic destinations,
to enter Melbourne as an origin gave about 10 domestic locales as a destination.
Additionally, I was sea-kayaking today and we chatted about how big baggage holds of
aircraft are; my current boat is 5.1m in length and 26.5 kg. If I upgrade to an ever
popular Mirage 580, they are going to be less impressed still. Australian Air Express
may be the way to go.
Or pay premium and politely demand 'service', or so I was thinking when I booked a one-
way flight to Hobart on NYD for a flight that afternoon (I helped to deliver a racing yacht
back to Sydney), at $340, compared to less than $250 for a return ticket two years ago.
