Xmas in the Bluies can be stinking hot, or more likely cool and misty; it's a bit of a lottery.
Depending on your grade and style of climbing there are quite a few shade options. Early starts can also be a good idea. There are also the occasional shady face or gully on a crag that you'd normally discount as been unsuitable so do't go purely by the guidebook.
Do you mean crowds at the crag? I don't think it's a huge issue and there are quite a few crag options. |
