I got bitten by a white tail spider about 35Km out of Kimba in SA about 4 years ago. I felt really ill about half an hour after it bit me so I had the station owner ring the local medical facility let them know I was coming. Started driving to Kimba, passed out and parked the company car in a tree. A few people looked at me strangely when the paperwork went in...
