I'd love someone to set up a gym in Albury Wodonga! We do drive to Melbourne sometimes to have a gym-climb (usually if we are in Melbourne for other things - to kill several birds with one stone) so it is funny to hear city-slickers upset about driving times/distances! We do have real rocks around here (but still at least an hour away from where I am) but we can't always go for a "real" climb and a couple of hours in the gym is fun and good in crap weather.

In Wagga, where I work, there used to be a climbing gym, now there is just a dodgy wall at a local gymnasium that is crawling with little (unharnessed!!!) kids and is so unsafe that it is only a matter of time before someone gets hurt. So I wish I could get upset about having crap routes at all the climbing gyms in town - I'd like just one! Even with crappy routes! I have friends in Wagga who will go to Canberra for a gym climb (only two hours away).
