"Last I heard DOMS was no longer thought to be caused by lactic acid build up." yeah, i think you're correct ajfclark with the delayed onset muscle soreness. But I think lactic acid build up, or at least lack of good oxygenated blood flow , can cause the temporary pump in forearms experienced whilst climbing. That's just where I was thinking the compression part of the skins could (?) theoretically be beneficial. And I agree that anything increasing circulation after climbing can help with DOMS.
