After having been to the new Bayside rock gym I can only say that if anyone is looking to out compete these guys then they will need nothing less than divine intervention. I dont particularly like bouldering but I am more than happy to drive 1.5 hrs to get to Bayside to do it. The problems are good and they have already started changing routes after operating for only a few months. Then there is the distinct lack of spinners. I have seen 2 very slight spinners and the boys fixed them IMMEDIATELY. If the climbing routes are as good as the bouldering then I can see some problems for other climbing gyms.
