Oldefella, is this gismo of yours custom made? Maybe we should all put in and buy one for the safer cliffs australia chaps. They may be able to help with the testing to destruction job. I'd be willing to donate.
If you do this on your own bolts and a few random others. Thats good for your own piece of mind. If you're willing to build up a few dozen results over time then that starts to get much more useful and informative for the rest of us.
I suspect that this "tension" bolt plate might be very hard to make. The gap between the bolt head and rock may be a bit small. Bolt plates are thin because they load the bolt in shear.
