Not worth even asking - of course it's changing - we all know that.

These are very strange comments. I'm yet to come across anyone who doesn't agree that the global temperature has increased over the past 160 years by about 0.6 degC. Global warming isn't being questioned. It's simply a matter of what has caused this, considering that it's consistent with past changes, and actually expected.

If you don't like satellite data, it does correspond reasonably well with surface data (although GISS is in a world of its own and refuses to go public on how they adjust their data). Just for interest, all surface data is adjusted for things like the heat island effect, and sensors next to air conditioning ducts. The magnitude of the adjustments is about the same as the anomaly.
