I use a set and think they are the ducks nuts re MTB lights.
After riding with them in the Canberra fog the last couple of weeks v's using my Petzl Tikka XP for night time trail runs I would have a guess that there beam has to much pin point and dare I say brightness for climbing and that a diffused light source would be better for peripheral vision and overall night vision (i.e. bright light right in your face while climbing)
My two cents. Having said that the head band is only $27.50 so why not give it a go. |
