Word on the street is that the ' spirit of place ' of the Organ Pipes was progressively trashed, thru out the 1990s, when migrant sport climbers established, and then encouraged , the practice of insensitive near-crack bolting , in the name of ' modernising ' the ignorant, sleepy Hobart locals ... Just think of all the grouse climbing shots that will be enabled from the lift !!! BRING IT ON !!! :D
