Lunar Crag - Apollo Pillar walk in |

Just wanted to mention a potential danger on the walkin to this lovely crag in the Grampions.
If you head directly to Apollo Pillar you go uphill from the rock cairn on the 4WD track and hit a small block - at the bottom of a small gully in this block is another rock cairn - if you take this gully up you will find a large loose flake at the top on the right - danger here!
Follow the directions on Neils website, or in the guide... or if you find yourself in this spot, then there is another much nicer gully a little further to the left.
Cheers,
Andy |
