Im with Wendy on that one! Avoid Araps, Gramps and southern states in Winter. brrr. Also, when it rains down here there is really no decent places to play.
Winter in Oz is still an excellent time to climb tho, you just have to go to the right places. If you are into Trad go to Frog butress near Brisbane for a bit of sweet crack cranking. Theres also some gnarly overhanging sport stuff in the area.
Otherwise, I'd suggest Nowra in NSW (about 2 hours below Sydney) for some great sandstone sport cranking. 30 mins from Nowra is Point Perp. which is ace sandstone seacliff action.
Enjoy!! |
