we had some serious fun in the kangaroo valley one flood. upper kangaroo and braggers creek were fun at flood flows. we paddled past a car that had been washed over a fiord only a few hours earlier. It is pretty lame at low flows though.
apparently the Coxs is sweet at high flows.
the shoalhaven has the best extended river trips in that part of the state. 5 days from sewells to tallowa is awesome.
Murrimbiggee just out of canberra has good accessible short trips at the right flows.
red rocks etc..
In the end i got a bit sick of chasing floods or scraping down dry rivers. and moved to nz. strangely i havent down much WW in nz but there is plenty for the taking.
