OFF TOPIC: White Water Paddling near Sydney? |

we did glenbrook gorge a few years back from the fiord near the jellybean pools through to the nepean. from memory there need to be more than .6m over the fiord to be paddleable.
It was quite serious technical paddling.
The think that struck me was the cheese grater effect as the rocks were not pollished or slippery like most rivers as there is such little flow usually.
cool trip though.
cant remember exactly but maybe grade 4+ or something like that depending a little on the flow.
It would i imagine be pretty impressive with more than 1m over the fiord. |
