I find it rather thoughtless that he wanted to go in there at all. I don't wish to judge him, I'm certainly not the one to do that. But good intent is not a justification in my opinion. And considering what I've heard from friends in Marysville, his presence there would not be appreciated, not tolerated and short lived. I think it would be the same in any affected areas. Is he looking at what is good for these communities, or what he thinks they need? LEAVE THEM ALONE for the time being, and do what you can from home. THEY DON'T WANT YOU THERE! As for my comments being harsh. Have you been impacted directly lost friends, property? Rather than say what I feel about that comment, I will choose to ignore it and hope you think a little more about the immediate impact on the victims and how they might feel about those that they would essentially consider to be rubber neckers.
