What would the alternative have been on yours and Ado's recent ground-up adventure, considering it
seems expansions are not ideal in the Mountains and waiting for glue to set in the middle of a pitch is
not exactly convenient? (that is if you placed a bolt, maybe you didn't? but you get what I'm getting
at.)
They are a good solution for ground-up routes in the Mountains. In which case I don't think it is bad to
keep them in circulation on other similar, long, rarely dogged routes.
Surely some of you enjoy using them or is it just me?
