Anyway, at the end of the day most people went home with the same number of limbs they woke up with. Electricity, gas and water kept flowing with a flick of a switch. And the flags went back on the sopha to cover the cigerette burns. Australia can be seen as a colourful culture, thanks to the broad and diverse population. Just how the other half think and react, why and where is a deep topic. I'd point out to anyone interested that intention is not always reflective of the deed. That our own perception of right and wrong is gauged by experience and education. If someone feels their actions are honourable at a consious level from where they're at in head space and circumstance, then that's part of their journey. As an outsider looking in we have an opportunity to analyse. Maybe even make suggestions how it can better be done. I can say I'm realy proud to know that climbers wouldn't go around getting drunk while draped in National symbolic objects. Hey . . . . I've just had an idea. Next time it's bogan day, why don't we invite some of the bogans to come along climbing with us. They might become inspired by the nature experience and enjoy a new sense of freedom and purpose that could pass down through their gene pool. AND they could bring their flags with them. They'ld make good edge protectors.
