I was climbing at Porters today and noticed the last ring bolt on Chook Lotto is quite loose. Which made
me think an informal bolt register may work? Do we as a Blue Mts climbing community have an existing
"need replacing" bolt register/list or can we create one? I was thinking if we don't the ACA website may
be a good place for it? Then people can check for updates on routes that need some or all bolts replaced
if they want to take on the job, mark the bolt as replaced, check a route they want to climb etc...It
obviously wouldn't be comprehensive but it would be a start! Any ideas anyone?

The ACA website already has this functionally. You can attach a 'warning' or 'maintenance' item to any route in the database. It has been used to warn against bad bolts - and direct rebolters to fixing it. This feature has been available for the last few years.

Did you stick a sign on the start of the route?
