Anthony Callaghan the VCC Access Officer here. My understanding from Parks Vic and Victrack is that the owner of the paddocks is no longer happy to have anyone cross his property for fear of litigation as is the case with Victrack in regards to crossing the tracks. I'm working with Des Peters, he is working for Parks Vic and is in charge of planning access for Werribee. At the moment it is recommended that you don't cross the paddocks but park at the brigde down the road and follow an old walking trail down and across a gully. The trail meets the gate on the other side of the fence line. A map of it can be found in Jacks Track Notes (Parks Vic Publication, I think) and a more details on the VCCs Website. I'm meeting with Des on Monday so hopefully I will have some more detailed information about access by then.
