Hello all, it's Ant Callaghan the Victorian Climbing Club Access & Environment Officer here with some information on a project that I am currently working on. The VCC working with Parks Vic. is going to be doing some work on the bush campsites off Stoney Creek Rd. in the central Grampians including the Bundaleer car park. As the work being done will involve repair, regeneration, enhancement or possibly closer of some of these sites we would like as much feedback from user groups as possible before work begins. Parks Vic would like to work with these user groups (rock climbers, bushwalkers and alike) to ensure that the community is in control of the outcomes. These are bush campsites (which mean there are no facillities) and the VCC and Parks Vic. would like to keep it this way with any work being done in an informal way so that the bush camping experience isn't ruined. We would like feedback on the project and as climbers use these sites often it is in our interest to get involved in the decision making process. I hope to hold an on site meeting in early Feb. (6th or 7th) to disscuss the issues further. Anyone interested in attending should contact me.

PS. On a seperate issue could people let me know what areas in the Victoria Range has been effected by bushfires if they have been there recently (what cliffs and campsites that could effect climbers visting there).
