It depends a bit on the grades that you climb and how much climbing you have done around the Grampians.
If you're only climbing in the lower grades then you might find the number of routes in the selected guide to be limited. On the other hand, if you are happy leading up to 19 (or higher) and fairly new to the Grampians then the select guide is a great introduction.
If you get particularly keen on one area then you might want to grab a more detailed guide (such as Kieran's guide to the Stapylton Amphitheatre, the Black Guide or the Mount Difficult Guide). In many cases though you'll find more current information for popular/new areas on the web. |
