as said, join a club.. or any other way to find regular, trustable climbing partners.

Lots of climbing. Climb with people who are better than you .. and watch them closely. When someone offers advice, be receptive. Compare other people and look for the subtle but general differences in their style. If you can find someone running a technique course, do it. Books, on their own, are unlikey to help as signifficnatly as watching others and recognising people with good and bad technique. Go some where like a bouldering location, where you can watch numerous people doing the same problem. Try and find the differences in their style, and the things they have in common. Try and mimic. If yoiu can find a course, some notes they have could be good.
