Buying a GT dual suspension bike.
Demo-rode a New 2008 GT Marathon 2.0 (RRP $2599)
and a 2month old 2008 GT Force 2.0 (RRP $3200)
Marathon will be $2350 & have warranty
Force will be $2300 & no warranty but looks fine (owner selling to buy pornographically expensive Yeti MTB)
Rode both, nothing felt dodgy, haven't gone over the Force with fine-tooth comb yet.
Anyone know if Matt Farrell (Cheesehead) is in Oz/Melbourne at the moment??
if Matt not around would like to get someone with MTB mech experience to give it the once over. Happy to pay in beer or cash for their time :) 2nd hand bike is in Fitzroy
