The guide does leave alot up to yourself to do the adventuring. I would have appreciated rough alpine grades to give a better idea of seriousness. I found also that I had to consult the hut warden to get a full picture of some of the accesses. An idea of the time to approach Moir would have been handy too.
From chatting to a few climbers there, it seems that the description of Sabre (classic route) in particular is difficult to follow and leaves alot to be 'made up' as you go along.
I guess it could have been motivation from the authors to kep things remote... |
