New Zealand Alpine Club members can get life insurance without climbing exemptions. Perhaps the same company does income insurance as well? (I forget which company they go thru) Margaret at the office is the best person to talk to, her contact is on their website. NZAC membership is about $90NZD a year, which when you get the Journal and 4 mags a year PLUS your insurance, it may all be a good option...
