Im not quite sure what you mean about onsight parkour..... We try to train in a manner were there is not a set course (unless
were drilling something for endurance). We train not only the moves but linking them and making them efficient, so that in a
RL chase type of situation you can get the most out of your skills.

The prase 'Parkour Competition' is redundand because Parkour can not be done EVER in a set up situation. Parkour is what
you do in a situation were you may need to use your skills to your advantage, for example you experience an unprecidented
fall from some height, you use your ability to brake your fall and escape the situation unscathed. That is a poor example but
i have used it with outdoor boulder problems several times. If you were to Have a competition it would have to be described
as 'a competition of parkour inspired moves'. Parkour Purists such as myself believe that Parkour should be anti competition
as it flows against the idea and philosophy of training for the un for seeable. So are there competitions? Yes. But that is
opening a whole new can of beans involving some particular people in england who happened to have started a certain forum
site which i will not name. They decided they would start a new "sub discipline" called "Freestyle Parkour" were you could
do what you want and also compete in competitions, these took off in the uk but are in effect failures because of shifty
people and organisation. This has and should be boycotted by any person who calls them self a Traceur.

We on occasion do play games of tiggy and that sort of thing to practice integration and edurance. I dont but im sure there
are people who do do timed runs but as i said this is frowned upon by the purists as it prevokes competition between people.
There is no grading system because of reasons previously mentioned.

I still get the impression that allot of you think parkour is just a silly game kids play. I can assure you it is as ligitimate as
climbing, it just follows a different ideas. We try to use natural obsticles just as much as man made ones. For example we
can be found jumping around at hanging rock quite frequently or swinging between tree branches on southbank.

Wally mate now whos taking who to serious. im just as capable of detecting sarcasm as i am creating it.

i know your were taking the wizz but im quite defensive when someone is mocking my beliefs. Parkour follow at set of
beliefs just like any religion would. Im quite sure if you went up to a minister at a catholic church and said "hey guess what i
think your beliefs stink! and god isnt real anyway" even with a sarcastic tone he would be pritty ticked off.
