A couple come to mind... the first belay on The Fear is really nice... overhanging unlikliness above a prow jutting over the water, with all forms of water transport parading past. All belays on Snake Dyke (Half Dome), Cave belay on Trojan on Tibro (Glasshouse Mts in Qld) luxury with a view!, First belay on Carnival Of Fear on Flinders Island... very comfortable with a sensational view of the ocean... belays high on Tonsai Wall in Thailand, last belay on the Beewah Bolt Route... high, steep, hanging and exposed, it has all the right elements, the belay on the top of any pitch that has really scared me... |
