Anyone been to Federation Peak recently and can comment how long it can take min/max from Farmhouse Creek to Bechervaise Plateau (average speed group, not particular slow or fast)? I'm heading down there over new years and have found the time I can do it in cut a little shorter than I would like, and may have one _maybe_ two days in the area to summit (the easy way), considering the average weather down there that might not be possible.
However I've been talking to the Forestry Service and worked out that the gate that is supposedly locked 19km from the trailhead is currently open and will be for the foreseeable future. |
