One of my favourite photographers of all time (Frank Hurley) was critisised for manipulating WW1 and 1910ish antarctic photos.
The end result with a photo should be to capture a moment and tell a story. If it needs a bit of tweeking to do that so be it.
Even the old proponants of Velvia films are relying on the film to give some extra punch to the photo. |
