generally lab prints of BW are rubbish as they are just colour printing in BW and rarely get them neutral. Find someone with an Epson 2400, 3800, 4800 or better you can get perfect BW prints. Also try them on Art Rag and you will be blown away. Note: print is only as good as the paper. I garentee that you will not see any limitation on modern epson photo inkjets and you get 200year archival quality. As good and often better than the traditional dark room.
