The Real Story:

Hi all, and thanks for the concern shown by some!

On Saturday night the 3rd of November, a fire service pipe (a very large fire service pipe, under high pressure) burst beneath the Westgate Sports & Leisure Complex. Unfortunately it was not discovered until 8:30 Sunday morning, which means 10's (if not) 100's of thousands of litres of water flowed throughout the building including Cliffhanger's area.

We will definitely be out of action this week, but we are hoping to operating in some fashion next week, although this is subject to Engineering Inspections yet to be carried out. There is a chance the entire floor will need to be replaced.

At this stage the Bouldering Cave will definitely be out for a few weeks as we need to order a new landing surface.

We will advise everyone via our website, email and chockstone when we know more.

As you can imagine this is quite a difficult time for both the owners and staff (who are all currently unemployed don't forget) who are working to get the place operational again ASAP. It would be appreciated if you could keep your "speculation" to yourselves.
