Come on Gerry, over at thesarvo you were saying that you were going to clean and bolt the route yourself! Surely it must have some value for you to entertain the effort involved in doing that rather than just chopping the bolt or leaving the route for the bolter to finish.

I agree with you about the placing of single bolts to reserve climbs as projects being bad practice. Mind you I havent seen any examples of it, and havent placed a bolt myself in Tasmania, so my opinion is really not worth a pinch of crap!
