Tips for glueing two sheets of ply |

The glue doesn't have to do very much. Each hold that is placed on the panel will be holding the sheets together as strongly as any glue bond. All the glue is really doing is holding the sheets together for as long as it takes you to drill the holes and mount the panels. Liquid Nails or any generic equivalent would be more than sufficient. Epoxy would be a waste of money, IMHO.
Your plan re bolts around the edges is a good one as it will keep the panels in registration with each other as the glue settles. Stick some heavy things in the middle of the sheet as well. |
