Cataract Gorge is great, it's got a really nice ambience (when
d*ickheads don't yell at you from the tourist side). Some classic routes are hidden in the gorge and if
you can tag along with either Gerry Narkowicz or Bob McMahon you'll be sure to discover the best of
the best. One of my favourites was Loose Money, Juice Money (17). But there's plenty in the easier
range 10-15 all amongst, including Trackside buttres which is an easy 3 minute walk from the car. The
gorge, especially the easier stuff, is mostly trad - some have bolt belays/abseils at the top of the
buttress.

Also check out South Esk and North Esk (with there own seperate guides available). Some classics
in amongst there.

If you want easy sport routes, Hillwood is the place to go. The chequer board (as mentioned above)
has many easy routes. Also check out "Waiting for Breakfast" (16) a nice slab climb just to the right
of Jugs 'R' Us (17) - also a classic.
