Kynan, Not a fan of the little crags around Launceston myself. Going to Launceston to climb @ Cataract Gorge is a bit like going to Melbourne to climb at Werribee Gorge. These are local cliffs for local climbers. One place you might consider is Rocky Cape. It's quite a big day out from Launceston, but the climbing is excellent and the location is nice. Zorro 15 is excellent, and there's a fair bit of easier stuff. It's in the Climb Tasmana guide. Alternatively, make a big day out to Whitewater Wall at Freycinet. Arguably the best easy climbing in Australia. Note that the last bit of road is 4wd only. You'll not find sports climbing at the grades you are asking about. JamesMc
